Your Best Mind Ever
Eric Maisel writes about this course of his:
In this unique program, I’ll share with you twenty lessons that will help you live a less fretful, less claustrophobic, altogether improved life.
These lessons help you accomplish what the Buddha explained was your central task in life: getting a grip on your mind.
Each of these twenty lessons has the power to heal, upgrade and improve your mind.
I hope you find them really useful—and enjoyable!
You are your mind. Descartes famously announced, “I think, therefore I am.”
Even that apt observation doesn’t capture the extent to which you are your mind.
Our mind ought to be the subject that interests us the most. Yet no child receives instruction in mind care.
Nor do adults. There is ever so much more focus on brain chemistry than on mind care!
Learning about the brain, however, doesn’t shed much light on the workings of the mind.
No brain scan will ever help you understand why you are sad or anxious. No cognitive scientist has language that speaks to you in ways that explain you to you.
For that we need mind artists. This program provides some of that artistry!
The way we dwell inside, pestering ourselves, writing poetry, producing nightmares, holding grudges, creating and abandoning intentions, conjuring nasty tricks and amazing benedictions, is too fantastic for anything like mechanistic explanations.
As if science has any idea where symphonies and hallucinations come from!
But that fantastic place is comprehensible by metaphor. The twenty I’m providing will help you immensely.

One of his many interviews – this one is about his book Life Purpose Boot Camp – which he has expanded to a course “Life Purpose Boot Camp Self-Paced Instructor Training.”

Here is another sample of his teaching – in a video “Eric Maisel on Creative Anxiety.”
See information about content of this (old) video of mine in article: How to Manage Our Creative Anxiety and Stress?
In the article, I quote creativity coach and psychologist Eric Maisel from his book Mastering Creative Anxiety:
“Are you creating less often than you would like? Are you avoiding your creative work altogether? Do you procrastinate? That’s anxiety.
“Do you resist getting to your work or marketing your work? That’s anxiety.
“Do you have trouble deciding which creative project to tackle? That’s anxiety. Do you find completing work hard? That’s anxiety.”
