It’s Never Too Early — Tips for Professional Development and Credential Renewal Planning

ICF Credentials are valid for three years following the award date or the date of the last renewal. It’s never too early to develop a professional development plan for your next credential renewal cycle!

Did you know that you can count up to a total of 10 hours of supervision, either delivery or receipt, toward your ICF Credential renewal and receive 10 Continuing Coach Education (CCE) units in Core Competency credits? Coaching supervision is a collaborative learning practice designed to build the capacity of the coach through reflective dialogue for the benefit of coaches and their clients. Supervision provides an opportunity to review your coaching practice, including both successes and learning opportunities, with a fellow practitioner to become a better coach for your clients.

For more information about supervision requirements, please check out the ICF Coaching Supervision page as well as our Professional Development page.
