It’s Never Too Early — Tips for Professional Development and Credential Renewal Planning

ICF credentials are valid for three years following the award date or the date of the last renewal. It’s never too early to create a professional development plan for your next credential renewal cycle!

Log Your CCE Units Regularly

Your renewal application is available as soon as your credential or renewal is awarded, so it’s easy to log your CCE units as you earn them.

To access your current credential renewal application, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to your ICF Profile page, or click the Access Renewal Application button on the renewal page of our website. You may be prompted to enter your ICF username and password.
  2. Under My Credentials, click on the Credential Renewal Application link listed by your current ICF credential.
  3. Select the Continuing Coach Education tab in your renewal application to begin logging CCE units toward your 40 CCE unit requirement.
