And that’s whether I’m acting as a careercoach, a consultant or university lecturer. It’s just kind of like what you, you were saying, but I’ve already tried this food, I know it’s good. I mean, I could try a different food, but the stakes aren’t even that high, right?

Host a festive celebration with traditional Mexican food, music, and decorations. Host a festive event or barbecue to celebrate with employees, featuring traditional foods and patriotic decorations. Host cultural events showcasing Hispanic food, music, and traditions.
So ask your career center for input on your resume, but don’t let them dictate structure to you. Career centers don’t understand social media. Most people get jobs from their network, not from a career center. And social media is the fastest, most effective way for you to build a network.
A good way to mitigate this risk is to only date when you find someone who is a connector between people from different networks. That’s someone who has an open network, vs. a closed network (which is when you connect people who are all part of the same group). Pay attention on the date.
