A literature review found five core components consistent across peer coaching engagements: (1) a voluntary, collaborative relationship; (2) self-evaluation; (3) coach feedback; (4) setting goals or preferred outcomes; and (5) leveraging participant strengths and amplifying their capacity (Schwellnus, 2013).
