Freedom beyond independence

We have been convinced that independence is a good substitute for freedom. It’s not! I speak from the place of an “highly independent woman”…I have been since a very young age. The truth is that independence it’s (maybe) a first step, but it leads us into separation and dissociation, and not to true freedom. Independence, can be empowering in some respects, it also has the potential to foster separation and dissociation.
