Because Asperger's is invisible, NT people don't know what to make of it, so they form their own conclusions. When I went in to register him for the year for high school, they had split the registration up into two days, separating the freshmen/sophomores registration from the junior/senior registration.

I have to fill in my age on the form, but there are numbers all over the form and all over the room and I can’t remember if I’m 41 or 42. I tell the DMV lady I filled out my form. I find Googling that another form of this sort of self-mutilation is anorexia , which I wish so much I could have. At least not right now.

My guess is that a large percentage of these cheaters are lying on the Occupation field when they fill out the online registration form. I couldn't think of three more nurturing careers – careers that require giving of your time and energy not for selfish or financial reasons but because it feels good to make others happy.
