However, just like you I find myself writing more and more stuff that's less "profesional" and really "personal development."
It's surprising what a subtle impact asking broader/deeper questions can have in developing personal and business relationships. She often makes observational comments about stuff she thinks should be different, but she doesn't problem-solve. And asking questions is the first step to problem-solving.
