I want to be more diligent about finding a mentor to help me grow, outside of my supervisor. I have been looking for a coach for many years.
When it comes to finding a mentor, the most effective mentors are 3-5 years ahead of you in the workplace. I was wondering if there were any ways you knew of online to find a mentor. And if you think you’re above this strategy, consider this: Companies do this all the time, they just call the temporary help consultants instead of therapists. So my new strategy is to focus on one "side project" at a time apart from my full time job as Program Manager at Microsoft.
