I recently saw Erick Goss speak at a conference on media trends, and the best advice he gave was to find cheap ways to fail because there were no guaranteed solutions. Telling myself to shut up wasn't the most healthy solution, but the truth is that being such an intense extrovert, I had never taken the time to be quiet and observe.

Because for some reason, a feasible solution is usually included with the "why," a bit like getting that second ShamWow for free. You are trying to motivate people to do the impossible and some "genius" is pulling the carpet out from under you. I think what "people" want is solutions.
