When we see the big triumph its easy to get all motivated, but small things are which we need to keep on doing inspite of them being the most difficult to do. It is the motivating factor to get up by not having the morning routine. But remember, your sons don't care about getting out the door on-time so you'll have to motivate them some other way. But the one and only thing that helps me keep my cool ALL THE TIME is medication. Then I leave early to get the kids.

I needed the motivation! The metro and public buses are so convenient (plus medical bills are cheap) so it might work to be both frugal and be accessible. I've done a fair amount of reading on happiness, but when it comes down to doing the simple activities that various books suggest to increase your level of happiness (spend 10 minutes each night writing down what you're grateful for, for example), I can never motivate myself to do it.

Inspiration and motivation are the factors that differentiate a leader from a boss, in my opinion. If you have medical issues, take care of them. I have been happiest in my career while working under an inspirational leader and inversely the most miserable when I have worked for a dream crushing boss. Get your love at home.
